Kohima:After an “unauthorised pamphlet” regarding the re-opening of schools for classes IX-XII by October circulated online, the state’s school education issued a clarification stating that the pamphlet is not an “approved” departmental notification.

“The pamphlet being circulated in the social media is a piece rough work created with dummy dates for the purpose of discussion at a higher level and is NOT an authorised/approved Departmental Notification,” an official statement from the department on Monday said.

As the department noticed that “unauthorised information” regarding the re-opening of schools in Nagaland for classes IX-XII from the month of October is being circulated in social media, it advised all concerned not to circulate the “unauthorised pamphlet” and also not to be “mislead by such unauthorised information”.

It said that appropriate disciplinary action will be initiated against the staff who leaked the rough work to unauthorised persons without the approval of the competent authority.
