Shillong: After several positive COVID-19 cases were detected in the random testing carried out in Shillong, director of health services Dr Aman Warr on Wednesday said that the city is heading towards a community transmission.

During a media briefing, Dr Warr said, “We are going into a community spread in Shillong. It appears so because he have got so many positive cases. We are doing contact tracing. A definite statement whether there is community spread or not will be issued as and when we complete the contact tracing.”
