Disha Sailan's last video prior to death emerges; parents clear air: no rape

Guwahati: A video of Sushant Singh Rajput’s ex-manager Disha Sailan, who ended her life six days prior to the late actor, is now doing rounds on social media. In the video being called her last party video, she is seen dancing with her friends.

It is said that soon after the party, she was found dead. Nearly two months after her death, Mumbai police has recently urged the people to share information or evidence, if they know of, related to Disha’s death.

In an interview with Aaj Tak India Today, Disha’s parents Vasanti and Satish Sailan rubbished speculations regarding her death.

They said that the stories claiming of disha being raped and murdered are false, and requested to not spread such fake news. Satish said, just as media has freedom of speech, we have right of privacy. “Do not interfere in our life, please.”

Sailan’s reportedly died by suicide in Mumbai on June 8, and Rajput ended his life at his bandra residence on June 14. The twin suicides have put Bollywood under scanner.

Rajput’s case in now with the Enforcement Directorate and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) which recently quizzed his alleged girlfriend Rhea Charkaborty. His father also filed an FIR in Patna naming Rhea and her family members on several cbharges including abetment to suicide, blackmail and money laundering.
