Any COVID-19 patient who is clinically declared asymptomatic and is not immunocompromised can now apply for home isolation, as per the state government’s latest standard operating procedure (SOP).

Mizoram: 29 security personnel among 33 found COVID-19 positive
At least 33 people, including 29 security personnel, in Mizoram have been diagnosed with novel coronavirus in the last 24 hours, taking the state’s tally to 537, government sources said.
Altogether, 28 cases were reported from Aizawl district, two from Champhai district and one each from Lunglei, Kolasib and Saitual districts, sources said. READ MORE
Total COVID-19 cases soar to 1,964,537 in India
The total number of coronavirus cases in India reached 1,964,537 on Thursday (August 6), as of 8 am, with the death toll standing at 40,699.
According to the latest updates provided by the Union health ministry, there are 595,501 active cases with 40,699 deaths so far in the country. As many as 1,328,336 patients have been cured or discharged and one has migrated.
