Aizawl, Shillong and Kohima will have cooler temperature compared to other NE cities

On the first day of August, Northeast’s capital cities will see some spell of rains. The temperature will be relatively cool in all the cities, apart from Guwahati, Agartala, Itanagar.

Indian Meteorological Department’s (IMD) weather forecast for Sikkim’s Gangtok city for Saturday is generally cloudy sky with a few spells of rain or thundershowers. The lowest temperature will be 21-degree Celcius, while the highest will be 26 degrees Celcius.

For Arunachal Pradesh’s capital city Itanagar, the forecast is “Partly cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers.” The lowest temperature will be 25-degree Celcius, while the highest will be 35 degrees Celcius.

For Guwahati city in Assam, the weather forecast is similar to Gangtok – generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers. The temperature will be warmer compared to Gangtok, with the lowest temperature will be 26-degree Celcius, while the highest will be 34 degrees Celcius.

In Manipur’s capital city Imphal, the weather will be “generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers,” as forecasted by the Met Department. The lowest temperature will be 23 degrees Celcius, while the highest will be 31 degrees Celcius.

In Meghalaya’s capital city Shillong, which is quite close to Guwahati, the weather will be quite similar. Generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers. However, it’ll be relatively cooler, likely to fall as low as 19 degrees Celcius and highest at 26 degrees Celcius.

Mizoram’s capital city Aizawl will also have a similar weather tomorrow, with generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers. The temperature will be same, lowest at 19 degrees Celcius and highest at 26 degrees Celcius.

IMD has forecasted the same report for Nagaland’s capital city Kohima like Aizawl.

In Agartala, the temperature will be warmer like Guwahati. The lowest being 27-degree Celcius, and the highest being 35-degree Celcius. For the weather, IMD has predicted, “Generally cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershowers.”
