Guwahati: Ram Janambhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust member Kameshwar Chaupal on Sunday sated that a time capsule will be placed below the construction site of the temple. The capsule which will be placed thousands of feet below will enlist the facts and history related to Ram Janmabhoomi to ensure no disputes in the future.
Chaupal said that the struggle which includes the long-drawn case in Supreme Court has made them learn a lesson for the upcoming and current generations. Hence a time capsule will be placed 2000 feet below the Ram Temple so that anyone who wishes to study the history of the temple can get the relevant facts. This will dissolve any controversies in the future he added. Additionally, the time capsule will also be placed inside a copper plate before being placed below the site.

Chaupal, who is the lone Dalit member of the trust, said that soil from different pilgrimages across the country are being brought to Ayodhya for ‘Abhiseka’ during the ‘Bhoomi poojan’ (foundation stone laying) ceremony. Additionally, water from sacred rivers across the country is being brought to Ayodhya.
On August 5 Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to lay the foundation stone of the Ram Temple according to the president of the temple trust Mahant Nritya Gopal Das. The construction will proceed after the ‘Bhoomi poojan’ of the temple where RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, chief ministers of many states and ministers from the union cabinet is also likely to participate.

The foundation stone laying ceremony will be celebrated on the lines of ‘Diwali’- the festival of lights with all establishments across the country to be lit up with lights and lamps.
