Dimapur: The deputy commissioner of Dimapur in Nagaland on Friday issued an order after an emergency meeting calling for additional lockdown measures, which will come into effect from July 26 till August 2 in the district
As per the order,
1. All categories of shops will remain closed, except pharmacies
2. All public movement is prohibited, except medical emergencies
3. Movement of all types of vehicles is prohibited, except for medical emergencies
4. Inter-state and inter-district movement of all goods vehicles will be allowed with proper safety measures in place
The order, however, exempts the functioning of offices like the district administration, police, security forces and medical and essential services providers like treasury, fire and emergency providers, home guard and civil defence, prisons, animal husbandry and veterinary services, Airports Authority of India and airlines, district courts, Life Insurance, PHED, power, NIC, DIPR, food and civil supplies, social welfare, IT&C, Municipality/town councils, AIR, Doordarshan, Central Institute of Horticulture, Medziphema, ICAR Jharnapani, Agri & Alied Departments, Postal services, Pharmacies, Medical Clinics, Nursing Homes, BSNL and Private Telecoms Services, Internet Service Providers, Media, LPG, Banks with minimal taff & ATMs, Petroleum outlets, Quarantine Centres, Persons/Patients with medical emergencies and those persons/individual involved in authorised COVID-19 related duties are expemted from the purview of the lockdown measures.
