Mumbai: Deceased actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s last film Dil Bechara’s official trailer is all set to be released on the internet on Monday (July 6). The movie, which is an official remake of the Hollywood movie The Fault In Our Stars, will mark the last time when the late versatile actor will be seen on the silver screen.
Rajput passed away on June 14 in his Bandra residence and investigation into his death is still underway, which is rocking some deep-rooted issues in the glitz and glamour world of Bollywood.
According to reports, the actor was quite excited to work in this film mainly because it was his best friend and casting director Mukesh Chhabra’s directorial debut. The movie stars debutante Sanjana Sanghi with Rajput on the screen as they bring in a Bollywood adaption of the bestselling novel.
According to the makers of the film, the film had been in the pipeline for a long time and was planned for a theatrical release this year. However, due to the ongoing scene of the COVID-19 pandemic and its subsequent lockdown, the film’s big-screen release was then shifted to a digital release. The movie is now all set to release on July 24 on the OTT platform Disney+Hotstar.
Although the movie is set for a digital release, fans of the late actor, knowing that this would be his last film, have already started trending a hashtag that pleaded the makers of the movie to have a big-screen release.
