Assam's Raj Bhavan campus has been declared a containment zone

Guwahati: Assam’s Raj Bhavan campus has been declared a containment zone following the detection of a COVID-19 case on Saturday.

The Kamrup (Metro) district administration in a notification said that in the interest of maintenance of public hygiene and to prevent further spread of COVID-19 virus, the campus has been declared a containment zone.

The boundary demarcation of the containment zone include: Hotel Belle View (North), Bonkonwar Nagar (South), Borthakur Clinic (East) and MG Road (West).

“Any unauthorized entry and exit into the notified containment zone are barred till the area is declared safe as per guidelines of the Centre,” the notification said.
