Manipur: Former boxer Dingko Singh tests negative for COVID-19
Indian boxer and Asian Games gold medalist Dingko Singh, who is battling cancer, tested negative for COVID-19 on Friday after undergoing treatment for than a month.
The former Indian boxer, who won the 1998 Asian Games gold medal, had tested positive for the virus on May 31 after returning from his medical trip from Delhi. READ MORE
Non-Sikkimese returnees will now be charged for COVID-19 testing
After almost 11,000 COVID-19 tests were conducted for returnees in Sikkim, the state health department has now opted to charge all non-Sikkimese people entering the state for COVID-19 tests. While he RT-PCR tests will include a fee of Rs 3,500 per test,TrueNat testing will be for Rs 2,000, informed health department after a State Task Force meeting chaired by chief minister Prem Singh Golay on June 30.
The non-Sikkimese people include those without residential proof in the state including those without Aadhaar card, Voter ID card, Certificate of Identification and even land documents in the state. READ MORE

Total COVID-19 cases soar to 625,544 in India
The total number of coronavirus cases in India reached 625,544 on Friday (July 3), as of 8 am, with the death toll standing at 18,213.
According to the latest updates provided by the Union health ministry, there are 227,439 active cases with 18,213 deaths so far in the country. As many as 379,891 patients have been cured or discharged and one has migrated.
