The COVID-19 hospital at Chedema is designated to treat COVID-19 positive cases.

Kohima: Of 273 samples tested in the past 24 hours, one person from Kohima has tested positive for COVID-19, taking the total number of COVID-19 cases in the state to 128. The number of active cases stands at 118.

Shanavas C, IAS, nodal officer for COVID-19 related activities outside the state, confirmed to EastMojo that the person who tested for COVID-19 on Wednesday is a returnee from Udaipur in Rajasthan.

“Out of 273 samples tested, 1 new case of COVID-19 +ve from Kohima Quarantine Centre have been reported in the last 24 hours. Positive : 128 Active : 118 Recovered : 10 Death : 00 Update at 7: 30 am, 10th June, 2020”, health minister S Pangnyu Phom tweeted.

Two persons have recovered from COVID-19 on Tuesday evening taking the total number of recovery cases in the state to 10. The two patients are still in the COVID-19 hospital in Chedema under Kohima district.

The health department informed that 12 persons in total were re-tested for COVID-19, out of which 10 tested negative and have recovered and two were tested positive again.
