A total of 64 persons have already recovered from the hospitals in Manipur till date

Imphal: Another 22 Delhi returnees tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday evening, taking total confirmed cases to 304. The fresh cases are: 22 from Kangpokpi and the remaining two from Chandel district.

The patients are stable and they have been shifted to COVID-19 Care facility at the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) and Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (JNIMS) for further treatment, said additional health director Dr K Sasheekumar Mangang.

Contact tracing and containment process at quarantine centers are underway to avoid further spread of the virus.

The state government have also urged the inmates at quarantine centers to follow the quarantine rules sincerely to protect oneself and the community from the virus.
