Aizawl: Another eight persons tested positive for COVID-19 aka coronavirus in Mizoram till Sunday night. With this, the total number of COVID-19 positive cases has gone up to 42 in the state.

Announcing the new cases on Twitter, DIPR, Mizoram notified, ‘Out of 244 samples, 8 new cases (Male -3, Female -5) confirmed at ZMC lab last night. 5 from Champhai District, 2 from Khawzawl District, 1 from Siaha District, between ages 21- 30. All are returnees from Delhi, under quarantine, showing no symptoms’

Mizoram has reported 42 COVID-19 cases so far. Of this, while one patient has been discharged, 41 are active cases in the state.

According to the DIPR, Mizoram, the total number of COVID-19 positive cases detected in Mizoram till Sunday night was 8.
