The state reported 38 cases of coronavirus so far on Friday

Guwahati: Another 38 cases of COVID-19 were detected in Assam on Friday, taking the state’s tally to 2,153 cases, informed health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Twitter.

Among the new cases, 13 are from darrang district, 9 from Dima Hasao, 7 from Nagaon, 5 from Sonitpur, and 2 each from Hailakandi and Karimganj.

The minister wrote on Twitter, “Alert ~ 38 new cases of #COVID19+

13 Darrang; 9 Dima Hasao; 7 Nagaon; 5 Sonitpur; 2 Hailakandi; 2 Karimganj

Total cases 2153

Recovered 459

Active cases 1687

The state reported 38 cases so far on Friday. So far, Assam has reported 2,153 cases, of which 1,687 are active, 459 got discharged, four died and three migrated to other states.
