Over 2.34 lakh students appeared in the HS examination this year

Guwahati: The results of the HS final year examination, conducted by the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC), will be declared on June 25.

The council has already confirmed the promotion of HS first year students to the next grade without conducting any examination. Online course content for the second year students is also being made available to the students through YouTube.

This year, approximately 2.34 lakh students appeared for their HS final exams in Arts, Commerce, Science and Vocational streams. The exams were held from February 12 to March 14 at 772 centres across the State.

Earlier, the results were supposed to be declared within May 15 this year, got delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Bard of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has already announced that the results of the HSLC/AHM examination will be declared on June 6.

Official sources informed that students can check their results on the websites and download their marksheets. Results will be declared at 9 am on June 6.
