Total positive cases in Meghalaya is now 33 Credit: EastMojo

Shillong: Another two cases of COVID-19 have been reported in Meghalaya, taking the total number of confirmed cases to 33 in the state so far.

The latest two cases are returnees from Goa and Maharashtra and are now under quarantine in Shillong.

Taking to Twitter, Meghalaya chief minister Conrad K Sangma tweeted, “Two more people who had returned to Meghalaya from Goa and Maharashtra have tested positive for COVID19. Both of them are under quarrantine in Shillong, East Khasi Hills District and are healthy.”

The total tally of COVID-19 cases in the state has now risen to 33. Of these, 19 are active, 13 recovered and one died.
