With 51 new COVID-19 cases, Assam’s tally soars to 1,672
Another 51 cases of COVID-19 were detected in Assam on Wednesday, increasing the state’s tally to 1,672 cases, informed heatlh and family welfare minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Of the new cases, 28 are from Dhubri district, 13 from Darrang, five from Karinganj, three from Sonitpur and two from Lakhimpur. READ MORE

Sikkim reports 2nd COVID-19 case
A second case of coronavirus has been reported in Sikkim on June 3 when a 56-year-old male returnee from Delhi tested positive for COVID-19. The person returned to state on May 25 and was kept at a quarantine centre in Mining, 40 kms from state capital Gangtok.
The patient is asymptomatic with mild cough and his son and daughter living in the same room of the quarantine centre have tested negative, informed Dr Pemba T Bhutia, Secretary, health and family welfare. READ MORE

Assam: 60 more test COVID-19 positive; state tally touches 1,621
Another 60 persons tested positive for COVID-19 aka coronavirus in Assam on Wednesday morning. With this, the total number of COVID-19 positive cases has gone up to 1,621 in the state.

Total COVID-19 cases soar to 207,615 in India
The total number of coronavirus cases in India reached 207,615 on Wednesday (June 3), as of 8 am, with the death toll standing at 5,815.
According to the latest updates provided by the Union health ministry, there are 101,497 active cases with 5,815 deaths so far in the country. As many as 100,302 patients have been cured or discharged and one has migrated.
