Hard times during lockdown forced people to take unprecedented risks and one of them, a 30-year-old, stranded in Coimbatore
With no other options to reach his home, Prasanth who worked at a bakery in Coimbatore, stole a bike parked near his workshop on May 18 to travel back to his home town. He took his wife and two kids and drove around 200 kms to his hometown in Mayiladuthurai.

The owner, Suresh Kumar, realising that his bike got stolen, lodged a complaint at Sulur Police Station but was informed by the police that the investigation for his missing bike would start only post lockdown. Suresh started his own investigation and collected footage of the CCTV cameras installed in the area. In one footage he saw a man taking away his motorcycle.
Meanwhile, upon reaching his home, Prasanth found out that the owner of the motorcycle was trying to trace his identity.
In an attempt to avoid any kind of legal hassles, he returned the motorcycle back to the owner via courier, using the details he found on the bike’s Registration Certificate.
On May 31, Suresh Kumar, received a call from a courier office, saying that his bike was ready to be delivered to his house. Will Suresh forgive Prasanth? That we may find out only post lockdown.
