Imphal: Former Asian Games boxing gold medalist Ngangom Dingko Singh from Manipur tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday, said a senior government official.
According to the official, he was among the five persons detected positive for novel coronavirus earlier on Sunday. The former boxer belongs to the village named Sekta in Imphal East district.
His sample was tested along with the four other samples at VRDL at Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) Hospital in Imphal.
