Imphal: Two more persons hailing from Thoubal district in Manipur have tested positive for COVID-19 on Tuesday night. With this, Manipur now has 37 active cases, total reported cases stand at 41.
The samples of the latest two COVID-19 male patients were tested at Virus Research and Diagnostic Laboratories (VRDL) at Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) Hospital, confirmed additional director Dr K Sasheekumar Mangang, adding official statement will be available soon.

A total of 454 samples were tested at RIMS on Tuesday, of which two turned to be positive for the novel coronavirus, as per reports.
Till date, a total of 6,233 people were tested for COVID-19 at the VRDLs of JNIMS and RIMS in Imphal.
And a total of 2,20,438 people were screened, including flight passengers, for the novel coronavirus in Manipur, as per the status report issued on Tuesday by state surveillance officer Dr L Tomcha Khuman of Integrated Disease Surveillance Project (IDSP).
