Imphal: With domestic flight services resuming from Monday, the home department of Manipur, in view of the current situation, issued a modified Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for flight passengers.
A must that is commonly seen in all SOPs so far is the installation of the Aarogya Setu application which is the same for the Manipur government as well. The travelers must download the app before travel and they are also to be medically screened at the point of departure before boarding.

Then all the asymptomatic passengers will be stamped for institutional or community quarantine on their hand with indelible ink and then shall be allowed to move towards the baggage collection area. Symptomatic or suspected passengers will immediately be separated and then sent to the isolation ward or COVID-19 treatment ward as per protocol.
