In a tweet posted by President Trump, he said that US stands with India and PM Modi in its fight against coronavirus

New York: President of United State of America Donald Trump announced that he will donate ventilators to India and work with India together to develop vaccine for treating COVID-19.

In a tweet posted by President Trump, he said that US stands with India and PM Modi in its fight against coronavirus. He added: “We’re also cooperating on vaccine development. Together we will beat the invisible enemy!”.

This comes as a goodwill gesture by America for India lifting its export ban on hydroxychloroquine and supplying the US with the antimalarial drug to treat severe patients of coronavirus.

In previous media interactions, Trump reiterated the greatness of Indian American scientists and researchers who are working tirelessly to contribute to the development of a vaccine to treat patients infected by novel coronavirus.

Trump also mentioned that United States is working very closely with India for development of a vaccine against coronavirus and described PM Modi as a “very good friend” while referring to his recent visit to India.
