The district administration has directed the circle officer, Guwahati to seal the area as a containment zone with the boundary as MG Road in north, Tarun Ram Phukan Road in south, SRCB Road in east and MS Road in the west.

This also includes the residential boundary of Dr Dilip Baruah; south: boundary of nurses hostel GMCH; east: residential boundary of Jogeswari Kalita and Kailash Kalita; west: Dental College Road.
