New Delhi: Help in these trying times can come in many forms, be it monetary donations, medical aid, food or otherwise. However, a Class X student from Noida has proven that a simple appreciation can bring in positivity and also inspire many to contribute generously.
Aadi, the young change-maker, was inspired by the thali appreciation campaign of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Have decided to follow in his footsteps, Aadi started a unique appreciation campaign, C-19 Hearts of Gold with the aim to inspire many to join in this fight against COVID-19.
Working continuously for four weeks by analysing and collecting donations data, Aadi came up with an idea of putting all the data in a single website. The website has the names of celebrities, organisations, eminent personalities, sportsperson, corporate leaders, and their donation amount to the relief cause against COVID-19. “Since I can’t monetarily contribute for this cause, this is an expression of my sincere gratitude to all those celebrities, eminent personalities, and organisations who have made generous donations,” said Aadi.
The website also acts as a live tracker about the total amount of donations received by the government of India as it has thoroughly analysed data of the donations.
That’s not all, Aadi also takes out time to make short personalised appreciation videos and posts which is later uploaded on his YouTube, Instagram and Facebook pages.
As of now, the young changemaker has posted 166 personalised thank you posts in his Instagram page, 33 thank you videos on YouTube, 146 posts on Facebook, and 228 tweets on Twitter. This resulted in many celebrities, corporations (such as Hindustan Unilever & Adani) and ministers (such as Kiren Rijiju & Hardeep Puri) to appreciate his efforts.
Along with being a change maker, Aadi is also an athlete and will represent India in Racketlon World Championship 2020 in the Netherlands. A two-time SGFI national player in badminton, he has spent more than 500 hours in various community service activities.
