Kohima: Nagaland principal home secretary Abhijit Sinha on Wednesday evening informed that, as per the health department’s order, more private hospitals in the state will be empanelled under the AB-PMJAY to provide benefits to non-COVID patients.
In a briefing, Sinha informed that the KOHIMAS hospital and Gynae Institute of Virility and Fertility have been identified for the treatment of non-COVID patients referred from NHAK COVID-19 hospital for “hospitalisation and will be empanelled under AB-PMJAY to provide benefits as per guidelines to the beneficiaries”.
He informed that these hospitals are besides the Oking Hospital, KP Bethesda Hospital, Putounuo Nursing Home, Bethel Medical Center, which are already empanelled under the AB-PMJAY.
The empanelled Hospitals in Dimapur are CIHSR, Eden Medical Centre, Zion Hospital & Research Center, Nikos Hospital & Research Center and Nagaland Multispeciality Health & Research Centre.
While Lenjem Hospital in Mokokchung and Tuensang Polyclinic in Tuensang have been empanelled, Nyenching Government High School in Longleng have been arranged “for delivering health care by the department”.
He said that in the rest of the districts where there are private hospitals, empanelment is under process.
Meanwhile, an update from the DIPR informed that the district implementation unit of AB-PMJAY will facilitate KOHIMAS Hospital and GIVF (Gynae Institute of Virility and Fertility) in Kohima in the empanelment under AB-PMJAY.
