Kohima: Taking the fight against the spread of deadly coronavirus or COVID-19 to the next level, the Nagaland Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unit on Tuesday donated 14 fogging machines to all districts across the state for fumigation process. Manufactured in South Korea, the fogging machines will be used to intensify the sterilization drive across the state.
The machines were launched by deputy chief minister Y Patton and State BJP president Temjen Imna Along on Tuesday at the residence of the deputy chief minister and in presence of health minister S Pangnyu Phom and other legislators.
Thanking the state BJP unit, minister Phom said that this is the first time that the state has received the fumigation machines. He revealed that the health department has placed the orders but is yet to receive the consignment.
