Guwahati: After the extension of lockdown till May 3 and issuance of fresh guidelines by the Union ministry of home affairs (MHA), the office of the deputy commissioner of Kamrup (Metropolitan) district in Assam on Thursday issued an order that “e-passes will be issued only in cases of medical emergencies and emergency essential duties.”
The district informed that e-passes will only be issued by the following persons:
1. Bipul Das, ACS, ADC Kamrup Metro
2. Kaustav Talukdar, PO DDMA, Kamrup M 86381-12297
3. DDMA Whatsapp no: 86381-12297
Further, in another order, it said that in the view of the extension of the lockdown till May 3, all passes issued during the first lockdown by Kamrup (Metro) district administration are extended till May 3.
