The 2-day ‘The Terrace Open Mic 3.0’ was conceptualised by TOTELL and supported by Tripura Tourism

Agartala: The capital city of Agartala in Tripura came alive with an incredible cultural evening recently, in which more than 50 voices came together to present their original creations of poetry, story telling, songs and comedy on the roof of Geetanjali Tourism Guest House.

The two-day event — The Terrace Open Mic 3.0 — was conceptualised by TOTELL and supported by Tripura Tourism.

Of the 112 registered applicants, 53 were selected for the event

Santanu Chakraborty and Sanhita Sinha, the editorial duo, did an excellent job of selecting 53 participants out of the 112 registered applicants. The artists grabbed the chance to present their creations in Kokborok, Bengali, Hindi and English in front of more than 300 spectators.

Two brilliant faces of the state, Antima Baidya and Swattik Chakraborty, hosted the successful episodes of ‘The Terrace Open Mic 3.0’ eloquently.

The occasion was graced by the august presence and performances of Nandita Dutta, a well-known journalist from the state; Bipasha Hrangkhawal, Tripura’s first woman air traffic controller; Somnath Bhowmik, a social worker; ABEN – Live looping artist; Freakyy, a noted rapper of the state; Funholic Chokrey, a prominent YouTuber who recently received the ‘Silver Play’ button from Tripura.

On the second day of the event on February 16, noted artists like BK Hrangkhawl, a popular rapper; and Raj Agnihotri, a stand-up comedian from Mumbai, among many other guest performances, added glamour to the evening.
