Guwahati: Assam chief minister Sarbananda Sonowal is all set to inaugurate the new building of Assam Bhawan in Kolkata, West Bengal on February 16.

The new infrastructure built under the initiative of Assam Public Works Department at Salt Lake area in Kolkata has already been completed at a stipulated cost of Rs 20.65 crore.
Posting on his official Twitter account, Assam health and finance minister Himanta Biswa Sarma shared some pictures of the new building and lauded the state’s public works department’s dedicated effort in completing the work within the given time period.

“I am glad to announce the timely completion of construction of Assam Bhawan near Salt Lake, Kolkata by Assam PWD,” Sarma posted.
Sarma also officially announced that Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal will inaugurate the new building on February, 16.
