Bike rally was organised to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Kokrajhar

Kokrajhar: Ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit in Kokrajhar, Assam, members of All Bodo Students Union (ABSU), National Democratic Front of Bodoland Progressive (NDFBP) and People’s Joint Action Committee for Boroland Movement (PJACBM) jointly took out a massive bike rally on Thursday.

The bike rally was started from Titaguri and ended at Simborgaon as PM Modi will visit Kokrajhar on Friday to participate in the celebration of the signing of the historic Bodo peace accord on January 27, which is being organised at Jangkhritai Pwthar near flyover in Kokrajhar.

Over 2,000 bikers form different areas of the district participated in the rally

Over 2,000 bikers form different areas of the district participated in the rally and more than four lakh people from different parts of the state are expected to attend the programme on Friday.

According to sources, a cultural programme of ethnic groups of Assam is being organised by the state government to showcase the diversity of the state.
