The accused has been identified as Luckin Mashangva, Jai Kishan Sharma, Yangte Josaham and Napong Jenpi alias Jenpi.
In a press statement, the agency said, investigation has established that members of NSCN (IM) conspired to commit the terrorist act of killing of Aboh and 10 others.
“It was revealed that a group led by self-styled major general Absolom of NSCN(IM), who is an absconding, along with three militants of the outfit – Mashangva, Josaham and Jenpi – formed a core group and were financed by Sharma to execute the terrorist act.”
“They had on an earlier occasion threatened Aboh and his supporters for their opposition to criminal activities of NSCN (IM),”read the statement.
On May 21 last year, the members of this group laid an ambush on the convoy of Khonsa MLA near Pansum Thong village in Tirap district. In the deadly attack, Aboh died along with 10 others, while three sustained injuries.
