Guwahati: The biggest celestial event of the year, Thursday’s solar eclipse, gave us a glimpse of the rare ‘ring of fire’. But as it is said, all good things come in a package, this time too, the solar eclipse got netizens a new meme material in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s tweet.
PM Modi sported a pair of sunglasses while holding solar glasses in his hand. The picture when scanned properly reportedly shows Modi wearing sunglasses from Maybach, a german company, and priced well above Rs 1 lakh. Although the exact model of his shades was not established, the company sells high end handcrafted eyewear.
One Twitter user pointed out that the particular picture of PM Modi “is becoming a meme”, to which the prime minister replied, “Most welcome….enjoy :)”.
