New Delhi: A strong earthquake measuring at least 6.8 on the Richter scale was felt across north India, including Delhi-NCR, on Friday evening.

The Hindu Kush region in Afghanistan was reportedly said to be the epicentre of the earthquake.

The quake occurred after 5 pm and had a depth of 225 km. However, there are no reports of any casualty so far,

According to reports, the tremors were reported in Jammu & Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab as well. Also, the tremors lasted for about a minute, said some reports.
