Seelampur violence: Quick look at what has happened so far
Protestors demanding to scrap the amended Citizenship Act clashed with security forces in Northeast Delhi’s Seelampur area.
To control the situation and stop the frenzied crowd from moving ahead, police resorted to lathi-charge and fired tear gas shells.
The agitation affected traffic routes and several metro stations were closed down.

The entry and exit gates of the following stations of DMRC have been closed, trains will not be halting at these stations:
1. Welcome, Jaffrabad and Maujpur-Babarpur
2. Seelampur and Gokulpuri
3. Johri Enclave and Shiv Vihar

Curfew completely lifted in Guwahati, inlcuding night curfew; broadband services restored
CM Shri @sarbanandsonwal reviewed the law and order situation in a meeting this evening and decided to completely lift curfew in Guwahati from 6 AM tomorrow.
Further, it was also decided to resume broadband internet services in the state from tomorrow morning.
