Tech behemoth launches strong line-up of products, exciting consumer & finance offers in run-up to Diwali; eyes growth target of 100% in premium TV segment
Guwahati: Sony India has launched a strong line-up of new products, exciting consumer and finance offer in run-up to Diwali, the tech behemoth said during a press conference in Guwahati, Assam on Wednesday.
Out of the gamut of products, Sony's premium products across all categories together contribute about 25% of the total revenue at the moment, which they expect to increase by up to 40% in the next couple of years.
For the festive season, Sony has set a growth target of 100% in premium television segment, 15% in the overall television business, 80% in digital imaging, 40% in soundbar, 60% in party speaker and 90% in headphones category in the festive season versus the corresponding period last year (September-November).

Sony is offering an innovative and unique ‘smart home kit’ as an assured gift with purchase of select BRAVIA Android televisions. The kit will help customers control their home appliances by voice command using their BRAVIA Android televisions.
Also, on purchase of of BRAVIA premium TVs like OLED A9G/A8G with HT-Z9F soundbar, customers will enjoy benefits worth Rs 51,000 which includes a smart home kit worth Rs 24,490, a discount of Rs 10,000, the rear surround speaker SA-Z9R worth Rs 10,990 and an additional cashback of Rs 6,000 available at no additional cost.
