‘For Each Other’ is a part of the ‘Neighbors’ anthology

Guwahati: National Award-winning filmmaker Rima Das’ short film For Each Other premiered at the 3rd Pingyao International Film Festival (PYIFF) held in Pingyao Ancient City, Jinzhong City in Shanxi Province of China on Wednesday. The film has been written and directed by Das.

In a tweet, the Village Rockstar and Bulbul Can Sing filmmaker wrote, “Delighted that my short film ‘For Each Other’, part of the ‘Neighbors’ anthology is premiering at Pingyao IFF today. This is even more special as my favorite filmmaker @Jia_Zhangke is the Executive Producer of the films. My best wishes to my fellow #BRICS filmmakers.

The international film fest started from October 10 and will conclude on October 19. It is slated to screen more than 60 outstanding Chinese and foreign films during the festival.

PYIFF was founded by Chinese filmmaker Jia Zhang-ke and film historian Marco Müller. It encourages dialogue between non-Western (Chinese, Asian, Eastern European, Latin American, and African), and Western film communities.
