Kokrajhar: An eight-member delegation team from Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council (TTAADC) led by its chief Dr Ranjit Debbarma visited Assam’s Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) Secretariat and Central Institute of Technology in Kokrajhar on Saturday.
The delegation team interacted with BTC secretariat officials, CIT staff and took stock of the functioning of the council administration. They also visited the planetarium site at Dimalgaon and Bodo village in Kokrajhar.
The delegation team members were welcomed and felicitated with traditional aronai (scarf) at BTC secretariat by officials. They interacted with BTC executive members, CHD, officers regarding functioning of council and development projects carried out by BTAD administration.
Debbarma told that his team visited the BTC council to share information on functioning and developmental aspects initiated by council administration. He also expressed happiness that BTC administration has stepped up in their developmental welfare projects as many ventures have successfully completed and more are growing up in the region.
“We are very happy to see the well-equipped BTC secretariat and several infrastructure that are successfully set up after signing the BTC accord,” Dr Debbarma said.
