New Delhi: The Indian ndian Space Research Organisation's (ISRO) Chandrayaan-2 has sent first pictures of Earth as viewed from space.
In a series of tweets, ISRO shared the stunning images clicked by LI4 Camera of Chandrayaan-2's Vikram lander on Saturday.
Developed by ISRO, Chandrayaan 2 -- India's second lunar exploration mission after Chandrayaan 1 -- was launched from the second launch pad at Satish Dhawan Space Centre on July 22. It recently completed its fourth orbit-raising manouevre. The last Earthbound maneuver is planned on August 6.
The pictures shared by ISRO show the Earth in different hues.
