Guwahati: Tezpur University has invited applications through online mode from eligible Indian nationals and overseas Indian citizen cardholders under Section 7A for vacant teaching positions. The applications should be submitted through online mode only through the recruitment portal http://luit.tezu.ernet.in/rs/

Pay Scale: Academic level 14 with rationalised entry pay of Rs 1,44,200

2. Assistant professor

No of posts: 17

Pay Scale: Academic level 13A with rationalised entry pay of Rs 1,31,400

3. Associate professor

No of posts: 21

Pay Scale: Academic level 10 with rationalised entry pay of Rs 57,700

Required qualifications:

The essential academic qualifications and other related requirements will be as per the UGC regulations 2018 as available on the UGC website www.ugc.ac.in

However, for the subjects of education, engineering and business administration, for which relevant revised regulations are not yet prescribed by the NCTE and AICTE and since the UGC regulations 2018 doesn’t cover these subjects, therefore, the qualifications only and not any other requirements would be considered.

Application Fee: An amount of Rs 1,000 in the form of crossed demand draft in favour of registrar, Tezpur University is payable at State Bank of India Tezpur University branch. The demand draft should not be drawn before the date of issue of the advertisement. Applicants need to write their name and the post they have applied for on the backside of the draft. The application fee should be paid through internet banking.

Last date of submission of filled in applications through online method: July 27, 2019 (12 am).
