Assam panchayat & rural development: Opening for ASSA director

Guwahati: The Assam Society for Social Audit (ASSA) under the panchayat & rural development, government of Assam, has invited applications from eligible candidates for engagement on a contractual basis. The post is purely temporary in nature.

Scale of Pay: Gross monthly remuneration of Rs 1,10,000 depending on the verified relevant experience produced at the time of recruitment process.

Age: 62 years (upper limit).

Educational qualification: Must be a post-graduate from any reputed institution/university in rural development/ social work/ rural management.

Experience: Must have at least 10 years of experience in rural development, community mobilisation and institution building. Experience in social audit is desirable. The person should have immense knowledge on transparency and accountability framework and should have the ability to speak any of the local languages such as Assamese, Bengali or Bodo.
