Sivasagar: The historic district of Sivasagar in Assam has come alive with the iconic Maha Shivratri festival being held at Sivadol, the 18th-century Ahom-era shrine.

Like last year, the three-day mega event is hosting the International Shiva Festival for the second time in a row. Several cultural performances by various communities of Assam will be a part of this festival.
