Aizawl: The BJP has turned out to be the party with the largest number of women candidates selected to contest the election to the 40-member Mizoram Assembly on November 28.
As per the second list released by the saffron party on Friday, as many as six women candidates have been selected to contest the polls.
In all, BJP announced its list of candidates for 24 seats. The party had released its first list of 13 candidates on October 20.
The names of three other candidates will soon be announced, a senior leader of the state BJP unit was quoted as saying by media reports.
