Agartala: Now, visitors can take a helicopter ride over Agartala to get a bird’s eye view of tourist spots in and around the state during Durga Puja.
Commissioned by the Tripura government recently, a 20- to 25-minute-long helicopter trip will cost Rs 1,700 for an adult and Rs 1,500 for children below the age of 12 years. An eight-seater double-engine Pawan Hans helicopter has been pressed into service to allow puja revelers get an aerial view of the city during this festive season.
The helicopter service has been subsidised by the government and has been sponsored by Union home ministry.
