The four-day Ziro Festival of Music is culminating on Sunday Credit: Vikash Prasad

Great music: The artist line-up for this year includes Sukkanya Ramgopal (first woman ghatam artist in India), Mono (Japanese post-rock band), Prabh Deep, Nubya Gracia, Malox, Func, Avora Records, Mathias Durand, Ditty, Oorka, Koloma, Sam Paa, Colored Keys, Search N Found, Small Talk, Gauley Bhai and Ady Manral, among others.
Breathtaking locales: The outdoor music festival is being held in the Ziro valley of picturesque Arunachal Pradesh. Just a visit to one of the beautifully manicured paddy rice fields or observing fish farming is rejuvenating, the say the least.
Tribal instinct: The festival is hosted by the Apatani people, known for their colourful culture, vibrant festivals, intricate handloom designs and skills in cane, bamboo crafts, among others.
Tantalising food: Local delicacies sold at the many stalls representing the states of Northeast are crying out for attention. Of special mention are ‘bamboo chicken’ and rice beer.
Music and more: Trekking, biking, going on cycling expeditions, bird watching and river rafting in the Kamle river — it’s a heaven for adventure lovers out there.
