Ratan Tata wins hearts after visiting ailing ex-employee
Philanthropist and one of India's most famous businessman Ratan Tata once again won the internet with his deeds, after he was seen visiting a former employee in Pune.
The heart-warming gesture by the 83-year-old came to light after Yogesh Desai, CEO at Primaverse, shared a post on LinkedIn, about how Tata went to visit the ailing former employee.
All praises for Tata, Desai wrote, "Sir Ratan Tata, (83 Years old ) living legend, greatest businessman alive in India visited the friends society in Pune to meet his Ex Emoloyee all the way from Mumbai who is ailing for last 2 years.
This is how legends are made of. No media, no bouncers only commitment towards loyal employees. There is lot to learn for all entrepreneurs and businessmen that money is not everything all that matters is being great human being.
Hats off Sir!! I bow my head in Respect!!"
Not just Desai, but Tata's actions have moved netizens. From calling him a "great soul", "great inspiration" to "a gentleman par excellence", social media users have heaped praises on the businessman.
The post, shared two days ago has already garnered over 1,89,000 reactions and over 4,500 comments.
On how Desai found out about the visit, he said, "He came to meet his employee in my Friends housing complex. I have not met him. I have nothing to do other than put on social media. However it is equally true that I will be blessed to have a boss like him. Forget about being boss even if he meets for a minute that’s enough for me."
