According to CNBCTV18, JDU sitting MLA Bijendra Prasad Yadav has won the Supaul assembly seat by 29,000 votes for the seventh consecutive term.
Incumbent MLA Lalit Kumar Yadav from Rashtriya Janata Dal the (RJD) has won Darbhanga Rural constituency by 2141 votes against JD(U)'s Faraz Fatmi.
At 3.20 pm, Left parties were leading in 18 of the 29 seats they contested. This is the best performance of the Left parties in Bihar in recent memory.
Even as results are yet to be declared, CNBC reports that the Congress party is raising a demand to end EVM-based voting
In at least 76 seats the margin is too less to call the results. India Today TV says a clearer picture may emerge at around 4 or 5 pm, by when at least 50 percent of the votes would have been counted.
As per the figures released by the Election Commission of India, the NDA is leading the Bihar elections with leads on 122 seats (73 for the BJP, 49 for the JDU). RJD leads on 67 seats while the Congress is leading on 20 seats.
According to CNBCTV18, BJP has pocketed its first victory in Bihar. BJP's Murari Mohan Jha has won from Keoti seat by 8000 votes, defeating RJD's Abdul Bari Siddiqui.
The official ECI website is yet to delcare a winner.
Trends show BJP as the single-largest party in Bihar with a lead in 73 seats even as the RJD has secured the largest vote share of 22.8% till 1.22 pm
80 seats with a margin less than 2,000 votes;
49 seats with a margin less than 1,000 votes;
23 seats with a margin less than 500 votes;
7 seats with a margin less than 200 votes.

Former chief minister and HAM chief Jitan Ram Manjhi is trailing behind RJD candidate Uday Narain Choudhary in the Imamganj assembly seat.
Bihar strongman Pappu Yadav is trailing behind both JDU and RJD candidates in the Madhepura assembly seat. JDU candidate Nikhil Mandal is leading with over 10,000 votes while RJD’s Chandra Shekhar has secured over 8,000 votes as compared to Pappu Yadav’s 5,000 votes.
According to the Election Commission, total 80 lakh votes have been counted so far and BJP has won 15,89,000 votes so far while JDU has secured 12,56,000 votes, Congress has won 7,29,000 votes, RJD has won 18,28,000. Chirag Paswan’s LJP has secured 4,92,000 votes. EC has also said so far, 1,44,000 votes have gone to NOTA.

Election Commission sources say 16% votes have been counted so far till 12:00 noon. An average of 6 rounds of counting have been completed till now and NDA has gained a lead over the Mahagathbandhan after the first rounds of counting in Bihar assembly election results.

As per Election Commission of India's latest figures, Communist Party of India is leading in 3 seats; Communist Party of India (Marxist) in 2 seats and Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) (Liberation) is leading in 14 seats
According to reports, only 5 rounds, consisting of 50 lakh Votes have been counted and 20 more rounds of counting are awaited
Contradicting exit polls, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is well ahead in the count.
It appears as if smaller parties like Chirag Pawan’s Lok Jan Shakti Party and others may play a key role in claiming stake to form the government if the NDA falls short of the 122 mark.
