Watch Hyderabad woman's narrow escape from falling structure
CCTV footages at times capture unbelievable visuals which are almost impossible to describe in words. A recent example of it can be the footage of a burkha clad woman walking in an old city region of Hyderabad when suddenly a building collapses right in front of her.
The woman unbeknownst to the incoming danger can be seen walking on the side of the road near the famous Akkanna Madanna Temple. At around 5:30 pm, Wednesday evening the structure adjacent to the temple collapsed engulfing the entire area in a dust cloud for a few seconds.

The woman was unhurt and walked away safely inches away from the disaster. Local authorities cleared the debris and demolished the entire structure after the collapse. Moghalpura Station House Officer A Ravi Kumar while talking with leading news daily stated that there was no causality reported in the incident. He added that the building has been vacant for around two and a half years now.
Meanwhile, at around 8:30 pm on Tuesday, four houses adjoining each other in Ghouse Nagar in Hyderabad were destroyed, after a huge compound wall erected behind these houses atop a hillock came down due to continuous heavy rain. The crammed colony located in the interiors of Bandlaguda is usually accommodated with working-class people.
The Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao, in an important meeting today instructed the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) officials to do a thorough inspection of dilapidated buildings. He even instructed GHMC officials to vacate residents still living in dangerous structures.
Just today, 19 dilapidated structures at Charminar, Faluknama, Laldarwaza, Santoshnagar, Champapet, etc. and residents of 14 dilapidated structures were vacated. Moreover, 35 residents along the Musi River were also vacated and rehabilitated. According to the town planning department, so far 154 dilapidated buildings have been demolished. 103 houses have been vacated in total as well.
