The Kapil Sharma Show is coming up with a hysterical episode inspired by a popular television news anchor, Arnab Goswami. Taking a jibe at the anchor’s infamous “mujhe drug do” (give me drugs) rant, Kiku Sharma is improvising it with a “mujhe jug do” (give me a jug) meltdown.
In a promo teaser shared by Kapil Sharma on Instagram, comedians Kiku Sharda play the character of Bachcha Yadav, TV anchor of Raddi News, with Sapna, played by Krushna Abhishek as his co-anchor. While actor Manoj Bajpayee and filmmaker Anubhav Sinha appear as guests.

The show opens with the anchors’ intro, followed by which Sharda asks Abhishek to offer tea, coffee to the guests. When Abhishek says that the milkman didn’t come today, Sharda goes into a riotous tailspin- breaking news- the missing milkman.
Cut to Manoj Bajpayee, Sharda follows the footsteps of the famous anchor, that is, ask a question, and don’t let the guest answer. He asks Bajpayee why the actor chose to come with 55-year-old Anubhav when he himself has an “anubhav” (experience) of 25 years in the film industry. But when the actor tries to reply, Sharda cuts him short and raises a hullabaloo.
Subsequent when asks him if they are allowed to speak at all, Sharda replies, “Say something which is explosive.”
A few moments later, Sharda asked Krushna for a glass of water, to which he replied, “We don’t have a glass. We have a jug.” And this triggers the infamous television breakdown, where Sharda yells, “Mujhe jug do, mujhe jug do” like a lunatic.

He calls for Kapil Sharma saying, “I challenge you…” and he arrives in the get-up of Navjot Singh Sidhu and goes on to beat Baccha Yadav (Kiku sharda). His co-anchor too joins him and spills a jug full of water on Sharda to cool him down.
