Delhi: Employer allegedly chews off employee's finger after argument
After a spat of words between an insurance firm employer and his employee at Delhi’s Mayur Vihar on Thursday, the employer allegedly chewed off the finger of his employee.
Reportedly, the accused person who was identified as Hemant Siddharth had a fight with Mohit Kumar after an argument over work following which he chewed off the finger of Kumar following which he had to undergo a surgery to reattach the finger.
The victim Mohit Kumar, who is resident of Ghaziabad had met with Hemant in Akshardham and decided to visit Karol Bagh in Hemant’s car. However, after completing their work, Hemanta asked Kumar to accompany him for some other work. Upon reaching Mayur Vihar both of them had an argument related to work.
Mohit alleged that Hemant started abusing him and even slapped him while they continued arguing and when Kumar tried to cover his face, Hemant chewed off his finger and it got separated and fell down.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) said Mohit Kumar’s finger was reattached by the doctors after a surgery at LBS hospital.
The Mayur vihar police have also registered an FIR under different sections of Indian Penal Code while Hemant is absconding.
