A three-page notice under Section 354/A of the Municipal Corporation Act has been stuck outside the actor’s gate. Some of the violations include,

• Unauthorised conversion into office cabin on the ground floor.

• Unauthorised kitchen construction in the storeroom of the ground floor.

• Unauthorised cabin/room with a wooden partition made in the living room on the ground floor.

• Change in staircase orientation on the second floor.

• Unauthorised construction of a meeting room/cabin with a wooden partition made in the puja room on the first floor.

• Balcony found enclosed in the habitable area by removing partition walls on the second floor.

Ranaut took to Twitter to write about the entire debacle, “Because of the criticism that @mybmc received from my friends on social media, they didn’t come with a bulldozer today instead stuck a notice to stop leakage work that is going on in the office, friends I may have risked a lot but I find immense love and support from you all.”

On Monday the Queen actor took to write that BMC officials have allegedly taken over her building which comprises both her office and her residence. “I have all the papers, BMC permissions nothing has been done illegal in my property, BMC should send a structure plan to show the illegal construction with a notice, today they raided my place and without any notice tomorrow they demolishing entire structure,” she wrote. She even took a video of the incident.

Additionally, contrary to the allegations about BMC doing this to smite Ranaut for her comment on how Mumbai has become similar to Pakistan occupied Kashmir, the civic body said that the visit by the officials was a part of a "regular exercise." This was undertaken to keep a tab on any illegal constructions in suburban Bandra. Deputy municipal commissioner, Parag Masurkar said as per their records it (Ranaut's office) was residential property, and they wanted to confirm if any changes have been made in the structure.
